What is antifragility?

It’s true that in the first instance, Prof. Taleb was referring to strengthening the economy, however many of the same principles transfer nicely to personal growth challenges. 

What if I am not resilient enough?

Well you are in the right place. It seems that some folks are born innately more resilient however for the most part, it is something that can be learned and finessed. 

What will a session look like?

We will look at examples of people who have been able to turn adversity around. There will be the opportunity to share in small breakout groups and feed back to the group so we can also get tips from each other. It will be a mix of psychoeducation and group learning. 

Am I too old?

It is never too late to learn new ways of making sense of things. The most recent research shows that our brains are neuroplastic which means that we can create impactful change through the course of a lifetime through healthier habit formation.

Cognitive reframing is a fancy term from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that helps us dentify unhelpful thinking styles and replace them with healthier habits so that our mind is a support and not a saboteur.
